So, during the course of a FB interaction, someone said something about addiction, and LOL, still hate LOL, and can’t give it up, and what occurs to me, as always, is like duh, you stupid douchebag, sometimes, there’s just not any choice.
Like the junkie, who gets busted, and just has to go off to jail and puke and shit his guts out for however long it takes to get past the physical withdrawal of narcotics addiction.
You know, that stuff that so many ‘mericans are addicted to? The DTs are just about as bad, or so I hear, depending on depth of physical dependency, but they are indeed ugly, seen ‘em, a time or three, not pretty, at all. And even more ‘mericans are addicted to alcohol by far.
But the thing that just always just blows me away, is the idea that we have any choice in the matter about things such as climate change, or social and environmental meltdown, and addiction to electronic media.
The generation that grew up with images of The Road as the future scenario are considering internet addiction in the Grand Plan for the Future.
